Child safeguarding policy
Draft version — October 2026
Our approach
A meaningful share of athletes on this platform are under 18. Josriri Sports Management's default posture is protective: a minor's profile is not publicly visible, and no photo or highlight involving a minor is published, until a parent or guardian has explicitly and verifiably consented.
How this is enforced
- Registering a player under 18 requires a named parent/guardian and their explicit consent — this cannot be skipped or defaulted.
- Only the guardian's account can upload photos or videos for a minor, or change that minor's private contact details.
- Every photo and video is reviewed by Josriri staff before it appears, and is served publicly only while the guardian's consent is in place.
- Consent is timestamped, tied to the specific player, and can be withdrawn by the guardian at any time from their account. Withdrawing it removes the profile, photo and videos from public view immediately (cached copies expire within about a minute).
- Guardian contact details are never shown publicly and are only accessible to Josriri staff, whose access is logged.
Scout and sponsor conduct
Scouts, clubs, and sponsors using the platform must route any interest in a minor through Josriri staff rather than contacting the player or guardian directly. The platform never gives them a minor's or guardian's contact details. Introduction requests are reviewed by staff first, and only an approved request is passed to the guardian, who decides whether to reply. Any attempt to bypass this — requesting direct contact, private meetings, or personal information outside the platform's introduction process — will result in the organisation's access being suspended pending review.
Staff access
Access to guardian records and minor players' private details is restricted to authenticated staff accounts, and every moderation and verification action is logged for accountability.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a profile, photo, highlight, or interaction on this platform puts a minor at risk, email skywalkerstalents@gmail.com or call +254 771 648 205 immediately. A dedicated safeguarding contact channel will be published here once it is finalised. Concerns involving imminent harm should also be reported to the relevant local authorities without delay.
